We also closely monitored bus activity to improve driver performance. ��� Cook-Illinois uses the Zonar telematics platform to track vehicle mileage, speed, idling, stops and more. Some routes also utilize additional patented solutions from Zonar, including the electronic vehicle inspection system, EVIR, and ZPass for tracking students. Synovia, Everyday Solutions merge to form new company Synovia LLC and Everyday Solutions Inc. last year announced an agreement to merge and operate as a new entity called Synovia Solutions. �� Synovia Solutions will leverage attributes of each company to create next-generation electronic school transportation management solutions that offer such functions as real-time GPS tracking with key performance indicators and tight integration with route planning, driver and rider attendance applications, and pre- and posttrip inspections. Offcials said Synovia Solutions intends to grow its business by selling advanced applications to the current combined customers, acquiring new customers and upgrading schools��� legacy systems with limited capabilities to a broader, more complete set of enterprise solutions. V Transportation Services is expanding GreenRoad���s driver performance service in its feet based on positive results the solution has had. Rolling V adopted GreenRoad���s solution in 2009 as part of its commitment to operating a safe and effcient feet, offcials said. GreenRoad���s service uses mobile and cloud technology to help drivers self-improve. It includes the Driver Improvement Loop, which delivers advanced in-vehicle technology and change management best practices. In addition, Rolling V uses GreenRoad as a positive driver development program and enhances it with a gift card incentive program. Rolling V expands use of GreenRoad technology Blue Bird reveals factory training dates for 2013 School bus company Rolling Factory training workshops will be offered by Blue Bird fve times in 2013 in Fort Valley, Ga., with class sizes limited to ensure a focused and content-rich training program. Workshop topics include recent product changes, such as the dual-zone multiplex system and 2013 emissions standards compliance. Attendees also gain product assembly familiarity with a factory tour. Blue Bird provides complimentary current service manuals and other subject-related materials.
